If you have a child growing up to the school going age, you must be worried about separation anxiety faced by majority of children on their first day to school. This happened when you don’t consider homeschooling as a good option for your child. However, there are few tips, which can help the parents as well as children to face the big day.

First of all, the parents must not show signs of fear or tension in front of the child. If you are not relaxed, it is difficult to convince your child. You can pack his or her favorite dish in the school lunchbox, but make sure the dish provides nutrition for kids.

You can always reassure your child that you are always around him or her and watching the classroom from behind the door. Also, try to talk about quality moments you spent together recently. You can also assure that you will take him or her to a fun-filled place, and don’t forget to keep up your promise.

You can surprise your child while driving him or her to school on first day. For this, you may purchase a toy, a story book or any other related items and promise to give these things to him, once he comes back from school happily.

Your child might be attached to his or her nanny provided by nanny agencies. Thus, you may accompany her to the school for first day and your child will feel comfortable in her presence.

If your child is able to jump over the barrier of first day to school, you can see him or her smiling while getting ready for school everyday.
